I've had my 68 Camaro LS swapped for about 8 years and wanted to replace the ceramic coated headers I had because of rust issues. I was hesitant about these because of the reasonable price but I'm happy to say I'm very satisfied. Nice tig welds and smooth bends. The tubes were shaped almost identical to the old set, with the exception of the collectors are closer to the floor. No problem with clearance around the steering box. I'm using trans-dapt motor mount adapters on the block and urethane small block mounts. I moved my original frame stands forward 1" by drilling new holes when I did the swap years ago and these headers fit exactly the same. Passenger side would hit the control arm and driver side would probably hit the steering box if the frame stands we left as original. Definitely worth the money
I am working on a 1963 Chevy II with a Heidts Mustang II front clip. This actually fit. I tried the Speed Engineering A Body headers because at the time I had a set on hand - those were a no go. These however slid in with minimal drama.
If you have a 1962-1967 Chevy II with an aftermarket Mustang II front clip - these will most likely be the answer to your prayers.
69 firebird 5.3L, 4l60, transdapt mounts, Holley oil pan. Stock steering and sub frame. Fit great, cleared all steering components!!!!!!
