Sounds great! Gave the truck a more aggressive sound. Installation was pretty easy fits right up to stock exhaust flanges only issue is you need longer bolts then what you receive other than that no issues at all would recommend getting an oem manifold gasket

2019 Silverado 5.3 LD Shortys

10/10 recommend. Fitment was great and didn’t run into any major issues. Only problem we ran into was the flange bolts were slightly short, definitely buy longer M10 exhaust bolts. They sound great. Currently running a 3” MBRP Catback exhaust w/ the shorty headers and it sounds amazing. Nice loud growl.

5.3 L83 Silverado Shorty Headers.

The Headers themselves are Well made. Great Welds and the headers themselves are solidly built for the price. INSTALL TIPS: Have an extra person it makes the job 10x easier. Also this is the PERFECT time for a tune up. The WIRE SET they sell is great and HIGHLY Recommended (Go wither shorter Length). For gaskets use OEM from Header to the block. Pull Plugs out on drivers side and header will slide right in. The Flanges can be tricky I ended up using NEW Factory flange gaskets on the Passenger side the Round Metal crush gasket worked great but took some effort to line up Y Pipe. On the Drivers Side I ended up Flipping the Doughnut Gasket to get a better seal as these Headers sit slightly higher than stock and on my 2015 the Flange bottomed out before putting enough pressure to seat the doughnut gasket in factory position. Last tip is if your truck is higher mileage add a super thin Slight coat of EXHAUST RTV on BOTH of Header Gasket to make up for any slight imperfections. Torque to 17Ftlbs heat cycle and check torque again. For Under $400 total I feel they are worth it for a DIY and gave me a slight power increase from 1800-4K RPM Range which is just what I needed for daily driving and towing purposes. Sound remained very closer to how it was before so no worries about waking neighbors.
