160° Thermostat is considered a “low-temperature” thermostat, meaning it drastically reduces your power plant’s operating temperatures, in turn increasing thermal efficiency and performance in the process. Racers know that a cooler running engine is capable of performing in a more efficient manner. This new thermostat replaces the factory unit and allows coolant to circulate at lower temperatures, helping the engine to run cooler.

NOTE: This thermostat also fits late model 2009.5 Pontiac G8's with the water pump housing on the driver side.
